I am excited to be part of the World Agriculture Forum, which is very unique in its scope and agenda, and working. As global convergence platform, WAF is bringing all key stakeholders in food and agriculture system on one platform to work on the current issues and future challenges to facilitate farming, agro trade and investments, and agri-food systems transformation. WAF aims to promote sustainable agricultural development through global collaborations, policy advocacy, and innovative solutions. As Advisor to WAF Board, I am dedicated to fostering partnerships, governmental engagement and championing new ideas to make agriculture a driver of equitable growth and sustainability, especially for smallholder farmers, who are vital to this mission. WAF focuses on closing implementation gaps by acting as a neutral platform for sharing knowledge, driving meaningful policy reforms, and enhancing global cooperation. WAF provides market insights, and actionable strategies that guide data-driven decision-making and accelerate progress across the agricultural value chain, and to contribute to food and nutrition security sustainably.

As the Chief Operating Officer of the World Agriculture Forum (WAF), I am passionate about driving sustainable agriculture forward. At WAF, we see transforming global agricultural systems as not just a necessity but a shared responsibility. My focus is on aligning our initiatives and operations to make a real difference—whether that’s building partnerships with governments, private sector, multilateral development banks and UN agencies, or research institutes to shape a future where agriculture supports both food security, rural livelihoods and environmental stewardship. Together, we are tackling some of the biggest challenges in the sector, from combating climate change to ensuring equitable access to resources, knowledge and technology, all along the value chain. And it will take all of us, from across sectors and countries, to be able to transform agriculture.
